Margaret “Ann” Burwash, 70, of Danville passed away on November 24, 2014 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. Ann was born on April 17, 1944 in Uckfield, Sussex, England the only child of Thomas and Josie Gregan. She met Dan Burwash and the two latter wed on April 25, 1981 in Richmond, England. Ann leaves behind one daughter Joanne (Eric) Ownbey; five grand children one very special to her was Claire (Josh) Pascual, she looked out for her grandmother even when Ann was in the nursing home; one great grandson; and a special group of friends The Steak and Shake Crew. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and Aunts. Ann loved to travel and swim at the YMCA, she was also a member of the choir at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. A graveside service for Ann will be held at Danville National Cemetery on Friday November 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers Ann’s family request that memorial donations be made in her name to Parkinson Research Foundation.
